Junior Tranfer
GPA: 3.84
Major: Aerospace Engineering
Missing Last Physics and last Chem.
Is anyone else in here an Engineering major? It really sucks that I got wait listed at UCD!! I got into 6 other schools and UCD is my #1 choice. Does anyone know the stats of how many transfers actually make it in off of the waitlist? I have looked everywhere and can’t find good data. Anyways good luck to all.
@ncflores: Did you TAG to UCD? If UCD was your 1st choice, using TAG would have made sense.
@Gumbymom Ya I tried to TAG. TAG’s are denied if you are missing any pre reqs. (which I didn’t know at the time). So mine was denied.
@ncflores: Sorry to hear that your TAG was denied. You are a competitive applicant, but not finishing Physics and Chem is probably why you were waitlisted and not accepted. I think you have a great chance so good wishes that you get in.
If you guys were admitted what would you guys do with your living situation? It is hard to find apartments to rent right now. I was thinking about commuting but the commute is an hour and I really DON’T want to do that.
@universityforme, the Davis students will not be done with the quarter until mid June. That is when there will be more rentals available.
So the time is coming near. In the old threads it seems like people started finding out around the 3rd or 4th. I’m really nervous!!! Please post if you find out. So we can all see where we stand. Thanks and good luck!!
Best of luck to everyone. Was accepted into UCI. So I will be declining my waitlist offer for UCD. Hopefully that helps someone else!

I really hope they notify us very soon! Some of the freshmen are still waiting to hear back regarding their waitlist decision. Not only that, but UCI and UCSD already started releasing transfer waitlist decisions. It’s nerve-racking.

They most likely wont release first wave of results until the 3rd.
Last year they began on 3 June and released a good amount that day as well. Good luck to everyone here!
