UC Davis vs. UC Irvine

I basically got scrwed over so UC Davis and UC Irvine are my best choices, so i need help deciding which of these is better for premed, i was accepted into biological sciences for both schools, and i want to pursue a medical career so i want noe wich of these schools will better prepare my for the MCAT, and med school. help plzz!!!!!

i have the exact and i mean EXACT question

OH NO! UC Davis and UC Irvine? What horrible choices you have! You might as well go to community college!

Dude, anyone who gets to choose from top 50 schools is blessed. There are thousands of universities, and you're good enough to choose between two in the very top percent of them.

I'll let others chime in on answering the question, but realize that when you say that you have to resort to certain colleges--some of which may be really great--you're insulting some people who are choosing them too, and not because they're "left" with them.

oo sorry i didnt mean it in that way, i am just really bitter, i really had my hopes on going to ucsd, it was my dream school, but i totally agree with you, UC Irvine and UC Davis have really good bio programs, and i want to know which will prepare me better for med school.

i think in terms of preparation for med school, both are roughly the same. you should probably base your decision on other factors, imo.

^^ that's what I was thinking. I'm more familiar with Irvine's med program (living in So Cal, I've had friends who had to go to Irvine's hospital), though I know of people at Davis now who're gonna go into med. The two are on the same level, I think, so your decision should be based on more personal factors.

does either one of these schools have a higher grade inflation, if any.
