UC Davis vs UCSD Bioengineering

UCSD - Bioengineering : premed

[UCSD BMES](http://bmes.ucsd.edu/degree-programs-faq#FAQ_Programs_Majors_BioPMED_1)

UC Davis: Biomedical engineering

I didnt get in as a ucsd bioengineering major, i got in as the pre med major, which is different . Should i go to uc davis to do biomedical engineering or ucsd for bioengineering: pre med???

If you look at the course for BioE and BioE: Pre-med, they're basically the same. Pre-med just has more pure science courses and little less engineering, but it's still an engineering major.

Personally, I would choose UCSD. It's bioE program ranks third in the nation. Also, BioE is an impacted major, which makes it difficult, but not impossible to transfer into.
