I’m having trouble picking between the two. I know UCSD is more well known for its biology program, but is it too competitive there to maintain a high enough GPA for med school? Is it too hard to acquire the classes you need? Or is it the same at UC Davis?

They are both great schools for premed. If you can visit both and go with your guts.
