UC Davis : Wait-list Essay & request for change in major

<p>I’m waitlisted at UC Davis & UC San Diego for Biomedical Engineering major with 2170 SAT and 4.2 UC weighted GPA. UC Davis is my 1st preference school. </p>

<p>Lately I’ve developed an interest in Computer Science as well. So I’m considering mentioning Computer Science as an alternate major in my waitlist essay. I was just wondering if this increases my chance of getting accepted as I’m showing some flexibility and not requesting for most demanding/popular major (i.e. BME)</p>

<p>Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.</p>
