I totally feel you!! I basically didn’t get in anywhere either and had a 4.27 GPA. Got rejected for biological sciences. And now I’m off to community college… yay us

I was waitlisted, then just found out that I was rejected about a week ago.
I am planning on attending Cal Poly SLO in the fall, and I will be studying biology
Stats: (major I chose when applying to Davis)
Major- Cognitive Science (super competitive, prob one of the main reasons I did not get in)
UW UC GPA- 3.91
W UC GPA- 4.21
ACT- 26 (lol…)
Extracurriculars- honestly, tons of extracurriculars especially regarding the STEM field, and leadership
Admitted schools- Cal Poly SLO (biology), SDSU, UCSC
Waitlisted schools- UCI, UCD, UCSD, Pitzer, Wesleyan, Cornell (tbh i don’t know how)
Denied- UCB, UCLA, Scripps, Brown
@moana00 , I’m in the same boat as you. Bio major accepted to UCSC, SDSU, Pepperdine, UT Austin, Cal poly Slo and others. Waitlisted , Davis, UCSB, UCSD and ultimately rejected. Why did you select Slo over UCSC and SDSU? I did the same but I’m having second thoughts. I may go to CC instead and transfer to Davis or SB.
