You have the SAT scores. Your GPA could be a little better, but yes you do have a chance.

I had a 3.66 unweighted GPA, a 4.29 fully weighted GPA, a 4.00 capped UC GPA, a 2300 SAT score, and decent extracurricular activities. UC Davis did not accept me for civil engineering. Your GPA is a half point lower than mine, so I doubt you will get in.

Uc admission now a days have been a little bit irratic. We know kids with high stats got denied and low stats got admitted. So do not give up your hope.

Wow I suck I got a 21 on my act and I applied to Davis, don’t think ill get in
Admissions are so random and poorly chosen that anyone can have both a horrible, and a decent shot. If you throw enough cards in the air and try to catch one…you eventually will. (If you threw enough cards to begin with)
@hazelsparks0: Yes, your GPA is on the low side, but your SAT score is competitive. EC’s and essays will also figure into the admissions decision. No one here can tell you for sure if you will get in, all you can do is apply and hope for the best. Work on that GPA and write some amazing essays. Intended major will definitely play a part in admission decisions. Good Luck and just remember, if you do not apply, then your chance is zero.
Very impressive SAT score! Hopefully it can balance out your GPA… Also, depends on your ECs, essays, and luck! Good luck.
Please chance me for Cal Poly SLO:
