<p>I have several question, so the Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering is not accredited by a Commission of ABET.</p>

<ol>
<li><p>Since this double major isn’t accredited by ABET, is it even worth putting the time on it?</p></li>
<li><p>Does this mean my major would be worst than just doing purely Mechanical Engineering or doing just purely Material Science since those are actually accredited by the Commission of ABET.</p></li>

<p>A lot of jobs require ABET accreditation so I reckon it’s not a good idea.</p>

<p>I don’t even see the point in this major since there is a material science minor you can take as a mechanical anyway.</p>
