I lived in Santa Clarita (same city as Six Flags Magic Mountain) which is roughly 30-40 miles away from UCLA. I actually did get a parking offer back in October, but since I was already living in the dorms, I decided I could live without my car.

Which dorm?

I'm living in Hitch this year.

Cool! We should meet at Bruin Cafe sometime :]

UCLA and UCB (72 Days to go)...

UCSB and UCSD (25 days to go)...

BruinCafe is yummy.

UC says that decisions start coming out for transfers on MARCH 1. Should you countdown to that too?

yeah fur sure, I think that date refers to the UCR admissions decisions which become public 12:01 on March 1st. I'm also assuming similarly ranked UC schools (Merced) come out that early as well (Did anyone here apply to Merced?) . I'll start the 03/01/06 countdown soon =]

Awesome...thanks

Actually...

Last year UCR was one of the last UC's I heard from. I heard from them shortly before I heard from UCLA.

Last year Santa Cruz came out right at the begining of March. My first letter came from (Tulane was first, but we're talking UC's here) UCSD sometime in mid March.

just wondering whose gonna join the im sports upon transferring.

Decisions for Santa Cruz (from their website):

"March 15-May 1, 2006 -- Transfer student notification of admission for fall 2006."

Davis and San Diego both say "mid-march"

Irvine says they begin March 1

(sorry for all these posts)

And Santa Barbara says March 1 too...

THey both claimed that starting March 1st (though UCSB kept pushing it back) they'll begin releasing, however mid to late March was the letters started coming.

Man, i have a huge craving for a big envelop from a UC, ucla preferably.

"THey both claimed that starting March 1st (though UCSB kept pushing it back) they'll begin releasing, however mid to late March was the letters started coming."

We should have a countdown to March 1 and one to March 15 (as cardinal has now) then. ... I think that covers it.

Thanks for your continuous help, allena.

HighSchoolda... There will be no big envelope from most of the schools. A few of them will send you a bigger one (Cal even sends you a nifty certificate that's really fun!), however I can tell you that UCLA sends a regular sized one. So remember, just because it's not a big envelope does not mean anything.

lol i remember the cal certificate. i believe there were two? there was one on some stationary paper and i dont quite reember the other one
