UC Decision part dos!!

200th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOES! ownt by my inability to count!

this entire thread should have been titled: "post here if you're bored and waiting to transfer"

:)

"I think UC Davis start sending decisions on 3/13 because the 15th is a Saturday. That's what I saw on UCD facebook."

Nice, I was able to find what you are talking about.

i just got accepted by CSUED

so what are you guys doing to kill time?
I am playing Utopia (I know... i just started playing cause someone said its fun) and still contemplating whether or not to drop Calc3

I am watching episodes of Monty Python, brought to you by Netflix.

Of course, I have an anthro midterm tomorrow... but... oh, whatever. lol.

yeah, i studied. i tried to see if i could relax if i didn't... doesn't work.

I mountain bike, masturbate my intellect over philosophy, and workout, and I am hoping to buy a Ninja 250r 2008 soon to take to Berkeley (o ya i am also waiting for Berkeley)!!

lol...I agree with you.

This is a sequel to the 2006's thread. Reloaded.

ninja 250r, as in the newer ones? those look great for a 250 motored bike. are you just starting out? i plan on getting my m1 asap.

my bike plan is:

250r-->ducati 748s lol.

but realistically:

250r-->cbr 600rr

Eh, I'm planning on selling my car before I transfer; hopefully fueling my traveling fund.

Waiting:
Santa Cruz: March 15-April 30
Davis: March 15-April 30
Santa Barbara: March 17-April 30
San Diego: March 15(24)-April 30
Los Angeles: Late April (predicting 26th)
Berkeley: April 30

Begun:
Irvine: March 1-April 30
Merced: March 1-March 31
Riverside: March 1-April 30

I believe all SIR's are due by June 1st

**Correct me if I'm wrong on any of the dates

Yes i am just starting out (are you too?)--- it looks great, it got great reviews, and it is AFFORDABLE -- it is perfect for a me. I have not seen any used 2008s, earlier models just don't match the 08. Have you seen the Shiver..ahhh [url=<a href="http://www.aprilia.com/shiver.asp?lin2=eng%5DAprilia.com%5B/url">http://www.aprilia.com/shiver.asp?lin2=eng]Aprilia.com[/url</a>] $9000... too much for me

Lackofsense, apparently Davis is sending out decisions beginning on the 13th.

I'll take your word for it. The link requires a login, which I don't have.

^^"Typically admission notifications go out on March 15, but since the 15th falls on a Saturday this year, we are release freshman admission notifications starting Thursday, March 13. Transfer admission notifications will start on a rolling basis through April."

If that's what you're referring to, I'm thinking it's for freshmen only, although it's kind of unclear the way she puts it.

Hmmmm for me to kill time.... I take photographs. [ o] snap

"If that's what you're referring to, I'm thinking it's for freshmen only, although it's kind of unclear the way she puts it."

I believe, in the past, decisions for both started on the same date, but we shall see.

lackofsense- for UCLA it's 24th..

I'm not sure, Lackofsense. I think the bump comes from 1) being in the army, 2) getting the Soldier's Medal (the highest medal you can get outside of a combat zone) and 3) Receiving th Civil Courage award from the German Attorney General.

On the downside, I'm a CA resident but I had to finish my degree at a Washington CC. There aren't any California CCs that offer classes over here in Germany.

I hope those things balance out.

I applied to UCB, UCI, UCLA, UCSC, UCSD and UCD. I'm gonna major in psychology.

I haven't heard anything yet though.

Good luck to everyone that is waiting.....and waiting...and waiting.

^^The UC's definitely take military service into consideration--they even give servicemen a separate essay, right?...and I'm almost positive that in your case the location of your school wouldn't really matter.

and since you're in Germany, please tell me you've been down the autobahn.
