ECs: my strongest suit... hundreds of hours of volunteer, club officer (various), student govt, president, statewide public service... all/most of my extra currics are tied/related to my major
work held throughout school: 30hrs/wk
Essay: v. strong.</p>
<p>I'm freaking out mostly because I know I AM that borderline student with the mediocre gpa that needs to win them over with the essay and my involvement (which, from what I hear, doesn't really mean much to them most of the time!)</p>
<p>this talk of them not reading the essay is making me nervous. bah. holistic application review process my ass. I feel like I'm going to crack with all of this waiting. I go through bouts of feeling like I'm definitely not getting into cal or ucla and it makes me feel ok and ready, like i'm already over it... and then I'll have a moment when I think there's still a possibility...and that just drives me up the wall.</p>

<p>Those two dudes look fearsome on the UCD housing site. The two blue dashes beneath their eyes is something to be reckon with. </p>
<p>I like their dorms. It looks very much like the others. But seriously, I like their apartment layout.</p>

<p>then i'll go down to the beach with my friends, light a bonfire and burn all of one of the many copies of my IGETC packets and then light my old scantrons on fire.</p>
<p>then we'll go to my house and sing karaoke, drink, eat and be merry.</p>
