<p>For the UC application if I am ELC (top 4% of class) do I have to use the username they gave me or can I just start filling out an application online and use their code when I get to the field? I lost my username and called to get my username two weeks ago but still haven't got the letter and I want to start my UC application. So will it make a difference if I don't use their username but put in the code?</p>
<p>you must use your elc code to activate your account if you want the elc to kick in. you can go ahead and make an application but that application will not indicate you as an elc person.</p>

<p>virtuouso, On the original ELC letter you rec'd (the one before your username & password envelope), there should have been the number of the ELC help desk. Call only that number. If you give them the particulars they'll ask for (probably date of birth, Soc. Sec., etc.) they'll probably be able to locate your access for you. (They may insist on re-mailing rather than over the phone.)</p>
<p>It is crucial that you code your app. with the ELC identification numbers.</p>
