Hi, im gna be a senior next yr in california and i have some questions on uc engineering majors. Are UC schools good at engineering? (Im talking about schools other than UCB and UCLA). Also, i was wondering about my chance of getting into uc schools and USC as engineering major. I heard it is generally harder to get in as an engineering major regardless of which engineering students r pursuing.

Here's my transcript details:
AP's taken (10th and 11th grade) - AP european history , AP language arts, AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP chemistry, AP US history
(I didnt do so well on my ap tests but i managed to pass all and few 4's)

AP's i signed up for my senior year - AP Physics, AP Statistics, AP Econ/Gov, AP environmental science.
(I took all honors or ap classes in my soph and junior yr. )

My 10th and11th grade GPA (wighted/ nonweighted): 4.418/ 3.618

Class rank: Sophomore -top 10, Junior- 17/470

SAT 1- 2050 <math 750,="" cr="" 590="" writing="" 700=""> (but im gna retake and try to get 2100 or above cuz i messed up on my cr i usually get 630 or above)
SAT SUBJECT tests: SAT Math 2c (800), SAT chemistry (720) SAT biology M (710)
<planning on="" taking="" sat="" physics="" in="" november=""></planning></math>

I have about 400hrs of community service
I was a president of a club for 3 yrs
and iv been doing mathematical research at a college with a professor for 3yrs.
(Thoses researches were actually published and the topic was something like "using complex system of matrix to determine and observe mutation in bacteria")

I'm interested in Civil or structural engineering. I feel like since my SAT score is far below 2200, my chances at UCB and UCLA are rlly low. So i was thinking that may be UCSD and UCI or Davis are possible schools for me. Can someone tell me if i am correct?
I think im gna apply to all UC's, USC and Cal Poly Slo as civil engineering major.

Thanks.
