UC English requirement placement exam

<p>What exactly is this, and is it absolutely required?
I think I missed it a few weeks ago when it was held at my school ... But I never received a letter or anything saying I needed to take it.</p>

<p>I haven't taken any AP English classes.
SAT critical reading 670 (but accidentally self reported 680)
SAT writing 720
ACT writing and reading 28</p>

<p>You don’t need it because you got over 680 points on the writing portion of the SAT I.</p>
