UC Entry Level Writing Requirement confusion?

<p>Okay I'm honestly really confused as to what I should do about this. When I go into My Application, under the "Analytical Writing Placement Exam Results" it says that "You have satisfied the UC Entry Level Writing Requirement."</p>

<p>The problem comes in because I'm not really sure how I managed to satisfy it...In order to satisfy the writing requirement it I must have one of the following:</p>

<p>30 or better on ACT Combined English/ Writing Exam
680 on the SAT Reasoning Test, Writing section
3 on an AP test in English
5 on the International Baccalaureate Higher Level English A exam
6 on the International Baccalaureate Standard Level English A exam
C in a UC transferable (four- quarter or three-semester unit) English composition class</p>

<p>I never took the ACT, the best I got on the writing section of the SAT was a 660, and I haven't taken any English AP tests yet but I'm planning on taking the AP Lit test in May. The only thing I could think of that would let me meet the requirement is the "C in a UC transferable (four- quarter or three-semester unit) English composition class" but I'm not what counts as a transferable class, also the semester part is confusing me a little bit so I don't know if the classes I took are even applicable.</p>

<p>If anyone could help me clear up this confusion then it would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>I’m definitely not complaining that I somehow met the requirement but if it ends up being a mistake then I just don’t want it to come back to possibly bite me butt later on :/</p>

<p>It’s probably your SAT Score. take a look on their website, it gives you a breakdown, I read it last year when my son was an entering Freshman. This just means that you don’t have to take a remedial English class and you can start taking your GE English class for Warren.</p>

<p>Dude, I have the very same confusion as yours~~ But guess what, the statement"you have satisfied the UC Entry Level Writing Requirement " in my status was “gone” when I last checked it (wth!?). I dont know why. It just disappeared… You can log in your “myapplication” to see if the same thing happens on you.</p>

<p>Hey, David, have u completed ur I-20 application? coz I found that statement gone right after I finished my I-20 app… But who knows? Just take the bloody exam…I ve seen some sample papers, not really a rocket science~ Plus u r not alone, haha</p>
