<p>I really hate to put blame on things, but I’m wondering if this would be suitable for my Essay #3 (open-ended prompt).</p>
<p>I’m from NY and in NY, some intermediates schools run until 9th grade. So, I stayed in my intermediate school until 9th grade, and then I enrolled in high school for 10th-12th grades. The thing is that this intermediate school did not offer any Honors/AP courses. Also, when I entered the high school, I was already designated a schedule without any honors/AP classes (because I already missed a year of that school’s work). So for both 9th and 10th grades, I have no honors/AP classes (my 11th and 12th grades have 2 honors classes, and 5 AP classes).</p>
<p>Should this be the focus of my third essay? The third essay’s prompt seems to keep stressing personal circumstances, or opportunities NOT available to students, etc. I really hate to blame things on…well, others so I really don’t know what to do.</p>
