:D :D :D
Maybe if I type that emoticon enough my face will start to reflect it! Hahaha.

Okay, business. T_T

Prompt 1:

"Describe the world you come from for example, your family, community or school and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations."

So far I've written only my essay for Prompt 1. I've had it edited by a lot of people, but I'd like one more go before submitting it for good. There have been a few worries since my father for one seems to think its crap because it apparantly has a negative outlook; I, on the other hand, don't see that at all, so I'm half annoyed and half worried. Anyone want to give it a go? I'll PM it to you~

Prompt 2:

"Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?"

I have no idea what to write!! I've done nothing impressive in my life. How good is it to talk about common experiences like helping plant a couple of trees on arbor day for community service? None of those experiences feel significantly noteworthy to me, although I had fun doing them; thus, I don't think I can properly write about them and make them sound as if they were important...

Also, the quality that I feel is most significant to my life is actually very insubstantial. Like I just said, I haven't done anything impressive so far. But what I have are big dreams and goals to do so; I want to volunteer for world organizations like Habitat for Humanity, etc, and I just want to do good things, even if I'm paid less than a teacher's salary (haha). I thought about winging it and writing my essay centered on that theme, of how I'm at least proud of myself because I know I have high morals and that whatever life I lead, it will be based for the benefit of the planet (I'm a tree-hugger and am really into animal rights; I'm pretty conscientious of the two and I want to major in environmental protection). But all that is just TALK, and I know it.

So which is better? To talk about something that's important about me but isn't very concrete? Or try and take a semi-average experience and try really hard to build on it? Or do you have any other suggestions, because I'm all ears.
