I wrote one essay about 700 words long while the second one was approx. 300 words....i love both my essays, but would the imbalance harm my application, I mean would the second essay be considered too short?

I don’t think so! The application says the minimum is 250 words.

One of my personal statements is 650 words, the other (has yet to be written) will be 300-350! I spoke to both a UC Berkeley essay reader and UCLA admissions officer about this, and they told be it’s absolutely fine.

That is not a concern. They set it up so you can split it how you like. fyi there is an Essay forum.

Thanks for the info

And where can I find this essay forum you speak of?

I can’t post a link on my device…go to forums home, link is top right, then scroll down.

anyone know if having two essays around 350 word would be any good? Will that be too short? And how much do the essays really matter
