Hey so I was wondering any of you guys could give me some opinioms on my topic. For the second uc prompt I want to write about my accomplishment of joining my school districts all city jazz band (I go to a big school district). I was gonna write about how the first time I tried out how difficult it was and how I didn’t make it, but then after working hard I made it the second year. Or I was gonna write about how I played music at a hospital for patients. How it gave me a sense of fulfillment within my community by giving back. Also how it lead me to open Joan’s gain communication skills with people. These all pretty much surround music and I heard that this topic is usually not suggested but do you think it would be ok to write about music? Also which essay topic should I write about all city jazz band or hospital volunteering? Thanks guys!
Also I’m applying to UC DAVIS, Irvine, Merced, riverside, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz if that helps
