UC Fall 2016 TAG/transfers

Ahhh 2 more days guys!! GL to all of you!!

Do you guys know what time tmw?

@littleone23
My friend received hers at around 10 AM last year!

I’ve been lurking on the forums for a while now, but now my nerves are getting the best of me so I signed up…
Do any of you know if you have to have all of your major prereqs done before you can transfer to Davis? I am applying for Man Econ and my counselor said I could take Comm 45/20 over the summer. I am taking Calc 16B, Business Law, Managerial Accounting and CIS 1 next semester.

Long story short, I was so focused on Haas that I didn’t really consider Davis until this summer, but I now think I would actually prefer Davis’ program to Haas.

@Wadadli From what I’m aware of, you should be done with everything on assist.org by the end of the Spring Quarter (Or winter semester) you’re transferring.

Approved!!!

GPA: 3.26

TAGS ARE OFFICIALLY UP!!!

This seriously takes a lot of pressure off. And thanks, @musicallyweird! I may have to take that Comm class over the winter then.

Approved!!!
GPA: 3.2

Congratulations everyone! This is pretty much the best day of my life!

GPA: 3.48
Major: Sociology

So now that our TAGs are approved, do we just submit our UC apps now?

Approved

Major: History
GPA: 3.22

@musicallyweird Well you can, just make sure that you still apply to Davis before the month is up.

Is the TAG 3.2 GPA requirement cumulative?

@enigmamachine yup!

I think 3.2 is the assist verified courses

@littleone23 I thought it was assist and UC-transferable verified courses? Like I only have 2 science classes left for assist-verified courses and it’s only 2 classes so I have to take other UC transferable GEs and I’m pretty sure those count?

The courses on assist are UC transferable. No point in differentiating the two apart from the fact that you should be looking to complete the courses for your major on assist.org
