I submitted my UC apps, but I didn’t realize that there was a Fee Waiver bubble to fill out, I thought you just had to enter family income/size and they would automatically give to you. I realized this after I sent my application, which told me I had to pay the full price.

I know I’m elligible for a fee waiver based on my family income, <15k, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem before? I was wondering if by emailing and calling about my stupid mistake would make them change my uncircled fee waiver option so that I can get my 4 UCs for free and a refund of $240 dollars. Thanks.

I think the steps you want to take are good enough, but you might want to read this:

[University of California - Admissions - The University of California offers one of the broadest ranges of study of any institution of higher learning in the world, all at an affordable price.](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/how_apply/apply_fees.html)

how do you apply for the UC fee waiver i kno im late but i been busy with basketball practice and stuff somebody help me out

I had almost the exact same problem. I first e-mailed and was told to call because it was “too complex” so I called. I was redirected a couple times and finally was told that my best bet was to pay and then send in a CollegeBoard fee waiver with Credit Card order number with written request for credit back on card. You can call too, but good luck.

In the last step of your app (before submitting) you have the option to see if you are eligible for a fee waiver.

Best of luck OP
