UC Fine Arts requirement and OOS

I’m curious if an out of state school considers Business courses as fine arts (thus fulfilling the fine arts requirement of the school’s graduation requirements), does it also fulfill the UC fine arts requirement?

No. As is sometimes the case, just because something is acceptable to a high school does not mean it is acceptable to a college.

The UC requirements are:

One yearlong course of visual and performing arts chosen from the following: dance, music, theater, visual arts or interdisciplinary arts

Or

Score of 3, 4 or 5 on the AP History of Art, Art and Design or Music Theory Exam;

score of 5, 6 or 7 on any one IB HL exam in Dance, Film, Music, Theatre Arts or Visual Arts

Or

Grade of C or better in any transferable course of 3 semester (4 quarter) units that clearly falls within one of five visual/performing arts disciplines: dance, music, theater, visual arts or interdisciplinary arts

What they HS allows as substitutions is irrelevant.
