UC Folks: Where are you going?

today's the last day to submit SIR....where are you going?

I'll be at Berkeley.

SSSSSSSSSSSan Diego BOYYYYYY!!!

Ucla Biz Econ :)

UCLA. The earliest orientation session that was available was 205 though, so I am not even sure if I am going to bother going to the orientation. Sounds like I am going to get crap for classes anyway.

voracity: then you better cancel it...I got 201 btw

UCLA

Fall 2006 Schedule of Classes available June 12, 2006.
Fall 2006 enrollment appointment times available on URSA June 14, 2006.

The first orientation is July 14th, so we are still registering a MONTH after alot of people, so if you go later its not like your missing a lot in terms of class options.

yea it's gonna suck ass.....I hope I get my classes or I will have to kill some people...I feel sorry for those who got the last dates...thanks to you malishka that I could sign up on the first day heh

PS: did you send in your bruin card photo?

Hm, why so much worry? Is it because UCLA is overcrowded? ;)

CAL=CALIFORNIA=BERKELEY

there's a reason why UCLA is more popular than Cal.....

enjoy the girls with chest hair :D

I like how you combined those--makes it look like people go for UCLA because they are concerned more with girls than academics. :)

Ya gotta have somethin' better than that...

hot girls are a bonus....a motivation too....I would get depressed looking at chicks with moustaches all day

Why even go to UCLA if you care about girls so much? I'm sure you could have got into SDSU. Better yet, why not ditch school altogether and just hit up the parties?

But I know it's just a "bonus"--funny thing is, it's a bonus at Cal too because there are plenty of attractive girls; the difference between UCLA and Cal is that the attractive girls at Cal are not bimbos! And I don't know about you, but I prefer brunettes.

when did I say hot chicks were the major factor for picking the school? if it were so I would have gone to UCSB...UCLA simply has great academics combined with gorgeous women...Cal has great academics combined with...well I already described them

and no Cal doesn't have "attractive" chicks and that's the general consensus, even among Cal students...but then again the word "attractive" is subjective...if your are into Cal type chicks more power to you

I'm into girls who don't spend 90% of their time in front of mirrors, who don't spend ridiculous amounts of money on getting themselves ugly, fake blonde hairdos; I'm into girls who can have a conversation about things other than "The OC" and celebrities.

this is UCLA you are talking about not UCSB....UCLA is as competitive as Cal in terms of admission so I don't know where you get the dumb blonde image from...the only difference in Cal and UCLA is that hotter smart chicks go to UCLA

Bimbos are at every college. Thing is, UCLA has a lot more of them than Cal. Being in Southern California must really make a difference (particularly Los Angeles); I guess also having more of a focus on sports and the Greek system plays a part too. Also, in terms of transfer admissions, UCLA is significantly less competitive; I know a few of these girls who might go to UCLA as transfer students in fact! Also, the competition for majors like communications at UCLA is another sign.

When people talk about the hot girls at UCLA, usually they are referring to the bimbos: blonde, superficial, dedicated to partying.

whoever thinks blonde bimbos are commonplace at ucla has never walked the campus, nor do they know anything about LA.

Cool and that would be referring to...? I certainly never suggested that. I suggested that UCLA has more bimbos than Cal; I also suggested that the "hot girls" UCLA is known for are typically blonde bimbos (the kind of girls Playboy was looking for when they ranked Berkeley so low).

Also, the LA mention is referring to how superficial LA is.

OMG would u all shut up with these lame arguments about how Cal is better than UCLA, every thread turns into a CAL vs UCLA argument, and thats just annoying.

UCLA is good for some, CAL is good for others.

I for one, had a fee waiver, and thus just picked CAL to apply to b/c it was free, had no desire to actually go there, and wasnt surprised when i got rejected.

Belive it or not, for some people UCLA ranks higher than CAL aside from the "hotter girls" issue.

And BTW speaking of the whole, hairy chest and mustache thing, you can get that fixed if you have the desire to do so, for example, i am sure that if every girl on the CAL campus got a makeover or actually took care of themeselves (worked out, tanned, groomed, blah blah) that CAL would have some attractive girls as well, i think a lot of it has to do with UCLA being in LA, an area that is known for hollywood and thus for people trying extra hard to try and look like the celebraties they see, at CAL the girls just dont have to try.

Now this will probably get a lot of women on my case, but i would like to say, as a female, that a girl should try to look her best 24/7, regardless of if you have a 20 page paper due everyday or if your taking a killer course load, i dont care what you have going on, as a female, you should do your eyebrows, get your nails done, etc, b/c thats your job as a female.

I hate feminists.

(sorry that kind of went on a diffrent topic near the end, but you all get my point)
