<p>The 8-semester cap does not apply in this case. You get the benefit of fully weighted GPA for this specific purpose. But remember that D or F grades are not allowed.</p>

<p>@ryanpan, it depends on your campus. Some provisional admission contracts require 3.0 unweighted while others require 3.0 weighted. You need to read the contract to be sure.</p>
