UC gpa calculation

<p>How do you calculate UC gpa for out of state schools?</p>

<p>I read somewhere about a-g courses, what are those? Where can I find a list for my school?</p>

<p>Since you are attending an out of state school the school will not have a course list. Please see <a href="http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/adminfo/freshman/advising/admission/agr.html%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/adminfo/freshman/advising/admission/agr.html&lt;/a> to gain an understanding of what courses fall into each category. You can then make an informed decision for your sophomore and junior years which courses to include in your GPA. Any AP, IB or college courses will add to the weighted GPA so give your self an extra grade point for up to 8 semesters of these courses.</p>

<p>hi guys i just wanted to say thank you and thanks for your time but right now i go to JMHS(John Marshall high school) and this HS is with tracks and it works like this 4 moths of school 2 moths home … so when my mom died i was in 9th grade my grades just dropped so i been wanting to go UCSD or USB since i got in USA … ok so
I thought that the UC systems uses only A-G courses taken in grades 10 and 11 for the GPA calculation is this right ?</p>

<p>My school counselor told me that UC’s are going to use 10th and 11th grade GPA only. Witch is 3.8 GPA is this right ? What should I do ? Because in 12th grade ima take 2 AP classes and I wanted to go take some classes in LACC .</p>
