They look at your UC unweighted, Capped Weighted and Fully Weighted GPA.
They will review your Freshman grades (9th) to make sure you passed your a-g courses.
Senior grades are reviewed after you have been accepted, enrolled and submitted your final transcript to make sure you have completed your a-g courses and meet the provisional admission requirements.
