UC gpa question

Am I doing this right? My UC gpa was 3.7 and then I took community college classes (eco and govt) and got A’s in both classes. Since cc classes are weighted I’d get 5’s for each but since they are only half a semester they equal 2.5… So I would add 3.7+5 divided by 2 which equals 4.35, right? I feel like that jumped up way too high just because of 2 classes…

You have to get the current points + 5 divided by the number of semester + 1 since your CC classes equal 1 semester.

A semester in a CC is the same as a full year in a high school course so there is no difference in how you figure CC classes.

sublimee, the way you calculate your GPA to get 4.35 is not correct. You might want to find someone to talk to and work it out. Your two cc class shall just bump your overall GPA u a little.
