UC GPA? question!

<p>Hi, I’m an international student currently studying in VA. (rising-senior)
I just recently learned about the schools in California, and I’ve been interested in UCLA and UC Berkeley ever since.
But then I found something that seems rather odd… do UC schools ignore the GPA from freshman/senior year? or is it just for the eligibility test?
I have a total UW GPA of 3.75, but if I take out my freshman year, it’d be 4.0</p>

<p>they don’t totally ignore Frosh grades, bcos they are reported on the app. But for eligibility purposes (UC gpa), they are not factored into the calculation.</p>

<p>yes, UC considers all grades for admissions.</p>
