it looks like your high school’s gpa are inflated… I have a 3.69 uc gpa with 3.89 weighted and im in the 11%… not sure how much it matters…

My high school’s GPA system is like all of the CCSD here in Vegas: +0.025 for every semester of honors and then +0.05 for every semester of AP, maximum of 4.8. My rank is low because my Career and Technical Academy is basically a magnet school so many of my peers are competitive… Basically, it’s not like a regular high school here since lower than a 2.0 will get you kicked out…

Ncalrent, thanks! Is UC Irvine just naturally easier to get into than the other UC’s?

Sorry for being so negative! UC Irvine is also my dream school! Best of luck in making in and hope to see you there!

Oh no offense taken RMiSLJ! Thanks and good luck to you too! Where you from and do you have a chance page?

Bump guys!!!

[Freshman admission profiles | UC Admissions](http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/profiles/index.html)

Look for yourself here - all the UC freshman stats are avaliable.

Keep in mind, all of the public colleges in CA hold out of state applicants to a higher standard than locals.

Having glanced at Irvine’s numbers again, I’m going to take you down to 40% there. Their avg GPA is above 4.0 now. Write a killer essay.

Good luck.

Bump again!!!
