Are AP’s and Honors weighted the same?

The Honors classes have to be UC approved, so if you are a CA HS student you can check which of your Honors classes are UC approved based from your HS, see link:

Yes, AP/IB/DE and UC approved Honors will give you 1 extra honors point/semester class up to a maximum of 8 semesters for the UC capped weighted GPA. See the Roger hub link.
