<p>Hey guys, so I’m an international student and I was just calculating my UC GPA. I actually have a 3.35 UW GPA and when I calculated my UC GPA it was an exact 4.0! I think I might just be using the calculator wrong, haha. Unless my UC GPA is really that high!

<p>Will the UC’s use my UC GPA to evaluate my application, my UW GPA, or both? And has anyone else’s GPA risen so highly when calculating their UC GPA or is it just me? lol</p>
<p>It’s to my understanding that UCs only use your UC GPA when evaluating you. </p>
<p>I’m not sure but a 4.0 UC GPA seems a little high for a 3.35 UW GPA. Did you make sure to only count a max of 8 extra points for AP/honors classes?</p>
<p>Yeah, unless you’re taking like 4 classes a semester, I doubt your UC GPA is a 4.0</p>
<p>Actually I think you only get extra points for AP’s, unless you go to a California highschool and the class is listed as honors on pathways.</p>
