has a chance at american university...but who really wants to go there

University of Chicago - no chance
George Washington U-slim chance
Boston U-no chance
University of Washington - OK chance
American U-in
Rice U-no chance

I think you do have a chance at BU, and presumably UW (in-state).

If the sat comes up it will surely help. Right know it looks like an in state match at UW and a slight reach at American.

Boston U is a reach? I think you're mistakening it with Boston College. Although both are great schools, the former is definately a lot easier to get in.

i say he has a shot at bu.

University of Chicago - reach
George Washington U-Reach
Boston U-match
University of Washington - match
American U-match
Rice U-reach

i think you are in at UW. the average gpa is 3.6-3.7ish, and yours is higher, average sat score is 1800, and again yours is higher. with the new holistic admissions essays and ECs play a larger part of the admission process but i still think you have an excellent shot, especially as an in-state student.

i also think you will get into boston university.
