UC Housing

which UC has at least two years of guarantee housing?

Berkeley DEFINITELY doesn't. UCSD has two years guaranteed, and I think UCLA does as well? I remember having heard that Davis does not have two years - either that, or people generally move off campus after one year even if it is guaranteed for two. Not sure about the rest.

So from the list, for 2+ years of guaranteed housing we have:
Berkeley
UCLA
Irvine
Riverside
UCSD
UCSC

At UCD off campus housing is not a problem. It is a college town, so everything is geared around the students. Davis is a great place to find housing! The community is student-focused and friendly, and rents for houses and apartments are far lower than those near most other UC locations. The majority of students find that living off campus after freshman year is actually less expensive. Meal plans at UCD can be purchased by any student for as many years as desired.

I know UCR guarantees housing for 2 years and last year, if you got a Regents Scholarship, they guaranteed it for 4 years. I am not sure what they will do with Regents Scholars this year, but they'll still guarantee housing for freshmen for 2 years.

I attended "Bruin Night" for UCLA this evening. The admissions counselor said that three years is guaranteed now, and they are working on four years in the near future.
