UC Intercampus Transfer

I will be transfering from a CCC to UC this coming fall. My question is if for any reason that I don't like the school will I be able to transfer to another UC campus? The UC website states: "Some campuses do not accept intercampus transfers who have completed more than 120 quarter (80 semester) units." How would that apply to me a CCC transfer? Maybe I'm just scared of getting trapped at a school. By the way, I'm tranfering to UCD in EE.

Yes, you can. I transferred to UCSB in Fall 2005 after going to a California community college for two years. I kind of had a rough first quarter, and I applied during my fall quarter at UCSB for a transfer to UC Davis. I wasn't really serious about it, I was doing it more for reasons of wanting attention.

Anyway, because I would be a senior unit-wise, and because my first quarter grades at UCSB were pretty low (below a 3.0), I was just waiting to get the rejection letter. And bam, in April, I get a letter saying I was accepted to UC Davis (I didn't end up going.)

So it's possible, but I wouldn't count on it happening, I think I got pretty lucky.
