I'm worried about my admission into UC Irvine.
I have about 3.6 gpa and 1590 for my SAT score. I'm involved in many community service clubs and I have leadership also. I'm not top student or anything, but I'm not exactly confident. I was wondering if I could get in..

Also.. this year, senior year has been rough.. UCs state that if a student receives a D their senior year, it could waive their acceptance, I'm worried about if I get rejected because I received a D in Calculus. It's been difficult for me to keep up with Calculus, but I received all A's except a D in Calculus.. I'm worried.

That’s a tough one. Your GPA and SAT score is very low compared to requirements. If your GPA was high, such as above a 4.0, it could possibly balance out your SAT score. I don’t necessary know what they look for, but GPA and SAT score is vital. I honestly say your chances are very low, but who knows miracles happen! Just keep your hopes up, cuz I am too! Good luck!

Your SAT scores will be too low. Your GPA could stand to be a bit higher as well.

Thanks for the honesty! I’m just hoping for a miracle… I don’t want to hope too much if I get rejected. Hopefully we all get accepted. Thanks.

I feelll you same score sat and gpa and a D in calc :o … it ruins ur life i want irvine soo badd
