I cannot make my decision!
I have been admitted by UC Irvine in the Business Economics major and UC Davis in Managerial Economics major.
Personally, I like Davis better than Irvine, because I felt in love with Davis because of the real friendly and welcoming environment.
However, my parents said I should go to UC Irvine.
Any advice?
Have you compared the track requirements between the two programs? Which looks more interesting?
Some information is missing from this equation. Why are your parents pushing Irvine? Is it because UCI is cheaper? Is Davis affordable at all or is this a pipe dream that you’ve fallen in love with?
I would take UCI Business Econ. over UCD. I personally only got into UCD, so I’ll be there this fall.
UCI is located in busy Irvine area. it’s easy to get internships and other opportunity while attending the school.
UCD M.E. program is in School of Agricultral Science… Vs UCI’s Business Econ is in School of business.
you should consider MIS track becuse UCI has very strong CS program also.
Which major do you prefer more ? That answer should help you choose. You should also look into which school is cheaper since university fees are rising.
