@potatoman1010@pmast25 I am going through the same thing potatoman1010 is going through… I have a 4.0 uw, and 4.56 weighted GPA, rank 4/516, 730 chem SAT, 760 math 2 SAT, 2280 SAT I, but I did not receive an acceptance or email. When I check my portal, it still says that my decision is pending… I am quite upset because does this mean that my ECs and/or essays are bad?!? I mean, I worked on a pretty unique essay for a month, positive responses from people with master’s degrees in English. And my ECs were praised by interviewers from Top 20 colleges. What went wrong?

@IAmTheGOAT That seems incredibly unlikely… are you sure you didn’t receive it in your portal in the top-right like in my screenshot? I’m sure you’ve checked, but this just seems so odd.
If you weren’t awarded it but you were awarded UCLA’s regents, I’d say you didn’t receive UCI CHP most likely due to a mistake or perhaps something wrong with your app. If there’s any chance you’d be interested in attending Irvine with CHP, it’s probably worth a call to admissions when they open. Hopefully they won’t mind as long as you don’t act arrogant, but it might be an awkward phone call…
Anyways I’m really jealous of your regents at UCLA though, congrats on that! You definitely deserve Irvine CHP.
