i did get accepted to UCSD btw
i really hope i get into UCI 
so far i’ve gotten rejected to every UC i applied to which are UCSD, UCD, and UCSB. my last hope for attending a UC is UCI because no way am I getting into UCLA or UCB… i dont even remember why i bothered applying to those schools in the first place anyway. GPA: 3.88 SAT: 1660 good ECs and decent essays… I really hope I am admitted
@badmintongirl Hug… I got rejected by ucsd and ucsb, waitlisted by ucd and ucsc, the only school I got in so far is ucr, and I haven’t even heard from Merced yet
I have a 28 on ACT, and around 3.9 uc gpa

Uci is my last hope, really want to get into, also for my gf, she got in ucsc, but I didn’t. I thought i could get in with my stats for sure, so that night I checked her status first, then I found out that she got in, we were so happy that we could stay together. However, when I logged in my account with all of my joy, then extremely shocked by the result: waiting list
I was soooooo sad that night, and didn’t sleep for two days ;(((((((( I decide to appeal for it, but don’t know my chance
So sad these days…
@orabuddy relax, you have so many options still. im assuming youre from highschool, so worse scenario would be doing a transfer from a cc, which has significant advantages but nonetheless dont be worried, there is still hope for a straight transfer from highschool 
as for gf, hate to tell u but its a bad idea to enter college with a gf, but i wish yall the best

@mmeza14: I will be majoring in CS at SDSU.
@DPatt: Do not feel too sorry for me. Due to my parents diligence in saving for my education, I will come out of SDSU debt free and even have some money left over for Grad school, that is why SDSU became an obvious choice. That and I really love the school.
@marleyandme Congrats for SDSU. Did you receive your UCI rejection yesterday? Also what was did you choose as alternate major at UCI? I ask because my stats are similar to yours but I am hoping to get into my alt major of Quant. Econ.
