are you a Cal resident or OOS?

I am a california resident

Does anyone know if thereā€™s an official Facebook page for accepted students?

S was accepted with CHP, but portal is silent as to Regents. Does anyone know if all the Regents are already out, or if some will be added later? The priority registration accorded Regents would sure be a nice thing to have.

I also got an email yesterday around 3 am saying that my status has been changed. I wanted to check the portal, but the link doesnā€™t work. I go to myAdmissions link, but the page never shows up and says that ā€œcannot connect to the server.ā€ I donā€™t think that itā€™s a wifi problem, because my internet works perfectly fine. Iā€™ve been anxious to check it since last night, but the page still isnā€™t showing upā€¦

Are all the people who received acceptances a California Resident or OOS?

@stalnr Iā€™m a california resident and got accepted, but im not sure if any OOS received any acceptances yet.

@GianRaf I was admitted with CHP as well and got the letter like two days after I was accepted. Donā€™t worry yours will probably come within a week probably. However whatever information they provided in the letter can probably be found on UCIā€™s website so donā€™t worry youā€™ll be fine your letter will arrive in the mail soon!

Congrats to everyone accepted! Can anyone tell me if the CHP/Regents acceptances are done or if they also come out in batches? Anyone here accepted without CHP/Regents? Also is the CHP invite based on GPA and test scores? My S GPA is 4.3 and SAT 2190 ACT 34, and has not received anything so far

This is the earliest any of my kids have ever heard from a UC. We were very pleasantly surprised.
This college acceptance and financial aid ride is a crap shoot. You never know how it is going to end up.
Congratulations to everyone who throws their hat in the ring at a shot of going to a great college. We are blessed to have so many great colleges available. Each student will find their own success no matter what happens during these next few months. College acceptances are just one step in the long journey of life. Good luck to all and their parents
