***UC Irvine Class of 2020 Admissions Results/Stats Discussion***

So I just checked my portal and decisions seem to have come out for students accepted to the Campuswide Honors Program (CHP). I didn’t get an email or letter, but my portal has been updated, so everyone else’s are also likely updated. Since no one created a results page following last years format, I figured I would do so:

How long ago do you think your portal was updated? What did it say?

@jd2016 Why don’t you post your stats?

Can anyone else confirm if they received this?

[
] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Deferred Yale, Accepted USC, Biola, Northeastern

Sorry I’ll fix the format later… I’m new to CC.

I checked my portal around 6:00 pm. It has a large banner right when you log in that says “You have been admitted to UC Irvine!” and on the right side of the webpage there’s a square link to the CHP website that says “congratulations” over it. I’m just confused as to why they didn’t send any mail, physical or electronic.

Don’t be confused, seems pretty clear that you were accepted and thats all that really matters — Congrats!

I have similar stats but I applied Engineering Undeclared which is (maybe) why I didn’t receive it.

Anyone else get it?

@Andrew545 I haven’t gotten it. Considering the fact that they haven’t sent out the email telling students to check the portal, I’d wager that not all of the acceptances are in yet, so don’t worry. Congrats to the OP for getting it, though!

@meanjean I sure hope so ! I would expect more people to have posted if all of them really were sent out already.

My D was accepted in Pharmaceutical Sciences/CHP, it’s in her portal tonight.

After seeing this DD checked her portal and she too was accepted. But two of her friends checked just now and neither one saw anything on theirs. We weren’t expecting to know anything until March so this came as a total surprise.

Daughter got in as well, biological sciences. Instate,GPA 4 UW, ACT=33, also got the chancellor’s invite to UCSB and email from UCR.

Son got in.
Physical sciences
4.0/4.5
2300

No email was sent. The portal updated.

Almost all (at least major) colleges notify applicants via their web portal which is eventually followed up with an email a few days later in case folks don’t get on the portal (See Cal Poly decision 2020 thread).

As a 1989 UCI alum congrats to all who got in to get the ball rolling!!
