@ICRIEEEE there was a picture someone posted in here earlier of an FB message they got from the admissions page, and they said that it’s most likely sometime this week (for freshmen). no specific dates yet
i feel like they’re going to do them in batches starting tomorrow and ending near the end of march
can someone plz pray that i get into uci?
@9pmerchdude In the past years, they usually finished releasing within a few days. First batch in state acceptances, second OOS acceptances, waitlists, then rejects

Considering the nursing acceptance rate is so low for Irvine (2-3% from what I’ve heard), would it be possible that they will accept me for my second alternative major (General Biology) ?
However, both are definitely impacted.

SAT : 1860
ACT : 28

If you aren’t considered for both your preferred major and alternate major, is it possible that they accept you as undeclared? I know that that’s how it works for the other UC’s, so I was wondering if the same applies for UCI.
I got into UC Davis. But for UC San Diego the March 30ed thing is crazy on the UCSD post right now!!
@Perseveretillend Yeah I got denied at Davis & March 30’d at SD, so I don’t even know anymore. Got accepted to SLO for EE but I really want to go to Irvine, hopefully they don’t make us go through what SD is making us go through right now ><

After the Tweet last week, I sent a FB message to UCI Admissions. I got this response this morning - “This week for the first round of decisions [smile emoticon].”

@koschu You’re crazy if you don’t choose SLO for EE. That’s way more competitive than Irvine.

@knguyen1297 Nope. I pasted exactly what they wrote. Also, as of 11:53 am, I was able to login to the UCI portal as usual and no change has happened.
