@abigayan congrats to you! my D has UC weighted and capped GPA 4.14 for 10-11 grade, ACT31. But I am afraid it is not good enough for nursing major. Anyway, don’t have good feeling now, since there is no updates on her portal. Her second major is Bio. But she will only go with school that accepts her into nursing, and she did get accepted into nursing from a few school already thankfully.
we have nearly identical stats except my uw was 3.8 and w was 3.9 and i got a 1130 so atleast I have a chance what time did you hear back.
My friend who attends the same school just got in, got her notification via email. Funny, I refreshed my portal and still no word!

wait but if they are accepting by major then why would they accept people into their alternate when that spot could’ve been for someone who put it as their first-choice major??
if they are releasing today…then it seems rejection will be Tuesday…i think i got rejected to both my first second and undeclared major…its been a while and its not impatience…i am just seeing alot of people getting in… one of them isnt me…the accept about 30000 ppl and reject about 70000 to 80000 students i am screwed

@abigayan, did you apply to CSU nursing? They are more affordable if cost is a concern. My D got in CSU long beach for pre-nursing. And she got big scholarship from Baylor and Gonzaga nursing, so she wants to go out of state. I am the one hoping for UCI.
@anxiousparent101 I didn’t apply to any CSU’s which I regret and uci is the only UC I applied to bc I was planning to stay in state

@abigayan yea I was hoping my D would stay in state, so managed to have her add CSU long beach to her list of school to apply. But since the scholarship she got made up for the difference between in and out of state tuition, I think she opts for out of state. 
Best luck to you whatever you decide to do. I wish it is not so hard to get into UCI nursing.
@Chs5297 when did you get your acceptances? Today or yesterday? And what were your stats?
