Oh, and to answer a few questions:
No, it was not confirmed decisions would come out today. It was just a rumor.
And why did OOS students apply to UCI? Well, my “state” doesn’t have universities where I consider that I can grow as a student nor a human being. California is next to Nevada, which is where my brother lives, so it’ll be easier for me to feel comfortable. Also, UCI has a beautiful campus, and since the UCs are focused on investigation, I think I will get the most out of my four years studying biological sciences (to study medicine).
I just got on spring break but if UCI doesn’t start releasing today imma be filled with anxiety throughout the week where I’m supposed to relax. 
We’ve worked hard, we’ve dealt with millions of other things and the fact that we’re handling the decisions right now with so much grace and humour should be a testimony to each one of our souls. Wherever we go this attitude will help us in real life. Never stop being foolish homies.

UCI was my first choice before I really looked into UCLA, but I just got rejected there so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I’m starting to lean more towards UCSB tho
