Reflection

Strengths: My strength would definitely be my essays.
Weaknesses: GPA, test scores, course rigor, extracurriculars
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I feel like I was accepted because of my essays because I really worked hard to perfect them and I tried to use my personal voice to show who I really am on the essay topics.

My essays were the reason that helped me earn a spot for admission. So definitely work hard on your essays and believe in yourself!!

Essays (rating 1-10, details): 7-8/10 probably. I wrote about my experience in Girl Scouts since kindergarten, and how I hope to uplift our next generation of women. Thought that one was super strong. I also wrote about my passion for writing non creatively and how my AP classes have prepared me for the type of writing I’ll be doing in college. I also wrote about overcoming my struggles being in a single parent household after my father passed away and my mother succumbed to major depressive disorder. And I honestly can’t remember my last one. Lol.
