oh boy, Irvine seems to be all over the place this year…
Did anyone else get the email about Discover UCI event Friday, May 8th? (When was that decided? I had tried to find a calendar for a transfer date and found nothing.) Not really an advanced notice so I’m not sure if I can go…
Also, admits, is it just me or did their portal just get more high-res? The little “admitted” banner just looked clearer to me, before it was kinda blurry - a bit of a bummer in comparison to UCLA and SD’s sites…and I got rejected from LA…
@victory13 yay! wishing you all the best today and tomorrow. I feel thankful I was able to be among the first batch to find out – in the end, we’re all hardly better or worse for when we start!
Still waiting on UCI as well. My major is Anthropology and I’m going in with TAP. Have any Anthro majors received their decisions? I hate this waiting process.

This is what they emailed back:
We are still in the process of making admissions
decisions. Decisions are made on a rolling basis.
Once a decision is made, you will receive an email
notifying you to check your online MyAdmission
account to view your admissions status.
I don’t know whether or not this is a good sign or not, but I am hoping that it is. :#
That is their standard response- they have been saying the same thing for the last month. Just trying to keep positive here. Seeing that rejections and wait lists haven’t really been rolled out yet makes me feel like there is still a good chance
@ohwow1: oh ok! Seeing those people that got accepted in trickles makes me worried xD They are clearly doing something different this year than last year.
So just to be sure which page do we log into to let us know we are admitted. Can somebody post the URL so I can see if I have been checking the right one? Lol Any criminology majors yet?
Any psychology and social behavior majors still waiting? With alternate major as criminology? Ah the wait is killing me but I’m hoping everyone who wants to get in does. I’m sending tons of positive vibes everywhere! Good luck all!!!
