Now that I knew it, I stopped wondering where I should be next year. For those who are considering going to CSUF, go there! I’ve been spending my spring semester at Fullerton. It is a great school and the business program they offer here is excellent. It is competitive but easier to get in and there are whole lots opportunities to get a job before graduation.
@csayala93 i was torn between cal poly and sdsu and i chose sdsu. I got waitlisted at ucsd but i dont think i want to go to a uc school.

@dannybui9 I’m not getting it at all though… I called them and they apparently counted my units wrong. I don’t know where that leaves me now. Admissions was rude when I tried to clarify that I had completed all the requirements and said to message them through the UCI portal message center even though I didn’t see an option to message them other than the common questions tab on the left.
Hey everyone! so I’ve been following a couple of these forums for months now and I’ve literally read every single post…congrats to all who got accepted!
I just got rejected today with TAG and a 3.95 GPA. I applied for Psychology, completed IGETC, and did all the prereqs that UCI wanted. I spoke to my admissions counselor over the phone and apparently he said that they did not count one of the classes units so I was rejected because now I don’t have 60 units. What confuses me is that UCR still accepted me! I think this is some kind of mistake on their end! Even if it doesn’t satisy a prereq the units for the class should still count!
I think I might be in the same boat as you as they failed to count the units for one of my classes. I called and my admissions counselor was nice about it but I’m going to try to clear up what exactly happened in the morning. @JPJordan
@JPJordan Yeah this is ridiculous. I’m talking to my admissions counselor at my CC and she’s gonna look into it for me. There’s no way we got rejected. I’m pretty sure they messed up.
Irvine definitely messed up their acceptance this year. I jus havnt got anything update on my portal %-( they dun even bother to update my rejection tehehe
Chemical Engineering - rejected, even though I have completed the CBEMS 45A 45B 45C Thermodynamics series at UCI already (I literally skip a year ahead of all other transfers)
Even before hearing back from UCI I have been leaning strongly towards accepting admission to Cal Poly Pomona - I guess I will appeal to UCI and then make the decision I have been meaning to make on MY terms.
