Yea, i got the same thing. They are asking for my tax information for my financial aid even though im still on thr waitlist
@vikings101 Did they ask you through the portal or through email? I hope itās not a bad sign for those who werenāt audited.
@CancelOut through portal. U log into itbfirst. Then at the bottom there is a lil tabs. And u got to the financial aid tab. And u log in to your my aid. From there u look at your application status
Its in the portal- I wouldnāt have known the request was there without reading about it in here and checking the portal. Thanks for the instructions @vikings101. I am praying this is good news. Also, does anyone know if others received the same request before they were admitted?

Ohā¦ You guys havenāt looked at that page before, have you. I had a friend that went to that page and was requested to send in some forms like almost two months ago. Thereās nothing special about it.

You will remain eligible for priority funding providing all future documents requested are received on or before the due date.
There was nothing about tax information? Are you guys getting a message in portal for that tax information?

I received an email explaining that I was selected for verification. It has nothing to do with admissions. Iām already admitted and SIRād. They audit anyone who is offered a significant amount of financial aid.
Not everyone. My EFC is 0, Iām on the waitlist, and they requested no additional documents from me.
I called UCI today to ask if the financial info request has anything to do with decisions. Their response was that there is no link. They just want to make sure the files are complete. i then proceeded to ask regarding the wait list decisions and the response was- there is absolutely no deadline on when and if decisions would come out. It could be possilbly late in the summer as well. They are still waiting to see if their are any available spots and according to the girl on the phone- they are at capacity and people should move forward with other options. This was very disheartening. This was regarding transfer admissions.
Hello guys I am also still on waitlist and for FAFSA tax information, I just updated from my FAFSA data tool and resubmitted. so it will be ok right because I cannot order from tax transcript by online.
@rogerdoger6 You can sign up for UCI summer classes even if you didnāt do advising. Iām signed up for summer session 1 and 2.
@ohwow1 I guess we spoke to the same girl because thats the exact thing they said to me, the only difference was I went there in person. SO TO ALL TRANSFER WAITLIST OUT THERE, UCI DOESNāT WANT US. Letās all go somewhere else

My appeal got denied, still on the waitlist tho. Chances are slim. SJSU bound!
Well idk if my appeal actually got denied or i got off the wait list but got ACCEPTED!! got into my alt major physics
Did not receive email I just kept checking my portal religiously accepted around 4:00pm, 3.09 gpa. Goodluck to everyone!!
