Honestly I’d really like a decision. I feel like I cant move on with anything in my life until this gets released
I just messaged them saying " Hey I’m sorry to be a bother. I am in a thread with a bunch of UCI applicants and were wondering if there’s a delay due to COVID 19. Were wondering because in the previous years the first “wave” would have been released already." AND THEY REPLIED with " Just give it some more time smiley face"
I appreciate them replying but that response tells us nothing

I started reading this thread looking for some answers. Finally decided to create an account so that I can vent here as well. I’ve been checking my portal non-stop. I Tagged UCI; my major is Criminology, Law & Society. I don’t think this major is as popular as others so I am not worried about them having a ton of applicants. I just want to know already that I’m In. After that, I’m going to be stalking my portal for my financial aid award :lol: UCI is actually my first choice. I also applied to UCLA, UCB, and UCR; all with a Sociology major. I already got notified I got into UCR. I know UCLA and UCB will be later this month, but dang it UCI, stop playing games with me :neutral:
What do they mean more time? Like a day? A week?

2018: TAG admittances, March 21 (excrutiatingly slow roll started April 6)
2017: April 19 at 3p; big drop April 21. (TAG/Honors-to-Honors got accepted March 14)
2016: Started Thursday, April 14, with a huge drop on Friday, April 22. Regents notices/acceptances first week of March
2015: Friday, April 24-30, with Regents notices/acceptances on April 4.
Wow This really shows theres no pattern here.
I applied to 14 universities and I haven’t received a single decision yet…its really frustrating to keep waiting at this point
@blueki I feel ya I have applied to 10 universities and only one of them have sent out admission decisions. UCI is my top choice and the wait has not been healthy.
Regular UCI decisions will be around April 17 or 20, give or take.
I think tag should be out by this friday or latest next monday.
I had to make an account and reply to this thread because I had no idea this many people were also freaking out about UCI lmao. Let’s hope TAG decisions are announced by this week!

Just wondering! When I logged into my UCI financial aid account, I saw “My Aid Award” and “My To Do List”. Does it mean something?
@imsuperbored Typically that is not an indicator that you made it into the school. I have seen students that were not admitted into the school but still qualified for financial aid or even received the aid award info.
Has anyone talked to any admissions counselors or messaged their social media or anything recently?
I think a lot of people have already and I don’t think it’s good to pester them or rush them… Although I’m also getting impatient
