I tagged to UCI for Electrical Engineering and haven’t heard back yet. I submitted my UC application on the second to last day before it was due. Did anyone (who hasn’t heard back) submit their application relatively early? Just wondering because I want to know if they’re rolling out decision based on the order that they received the applications or if they’re just rolling out TAG decisions randomly or based on another aspect.Really hope I get my decision before the weekend though.

@suddenbuilder i submitted my application last year a minute before the deadline and was still accepted on the first wave of regular admissions since I didn’t tag.

I am also a TAG for EE and havent gotten in. I’ve been seeing the other engineering disciplines receive their acceptances but yet to see an EE. What is your gpa? I have a 3.42 with everything completed.

not all honors, and I don’t know how they decide who gets it, I’m just another applicant lol

@Skister I have a 3.57 GPA overall but I’m a borderline 3.0 GPA in terms of my major prep courses (which is a requirement for the major). So assuming that I finish with a 3.0 this semester (which I hopefully do) I think I should get in considering that I’ve TAG’ed (but we’ll see lol). I’ve also finished IGETC so I’m just finishing my major prep classes this semester.

Congratulations @lucianaxa Quick question -Would you mind sharing which prerequisites you completed ? When my daughter applied there was only the 2016 or 2017 assist.org list and I noticed it’s been updated recently . It does state that prerequisites are recommended and not mandatory so just curious.

For the UCI equivalent of my CCC, I took SOCIOL 1, SOCIOL 3, SOCIOL 31, SOCIOL 62!
