Does anyone know if UCI sends the decision straight to our email or if they just email saying there has been an update to the portal?

So, according to this, Irvine released the first batch of decisions on a Tuesday in 2019, and on a Wednesday in both 2018 and 2017. Could us TAG and H2H folks be seeing our decisions within the next 2-3 days? Find out on the next episode of “Just Let Me In Already”.

I just came on here to ask if I should only be expecting a decision on Friday. Good to know that it’s possible to receive the decision earlier. Just means i’ll be checking this site way more than I should throughout the week😝

It’s a really stressful time and my daughter is just wondering if UCI accepted her TAG. Her friends already got their TAG approval months ago from UC Davis.

UCI TAG applicants are notified at the time of the transfer decisions unlike UCD. If she meets all the requirements, then it should be accepted.

I apologize for not posting this in the correct location, but perhaps someone can lead me in the right direction? I have not taken any Calculus courses at my Community College. I took Stats and received an A. I noticed today on assist that Calculus appears to be a requirement for Psychology majors at the UC’s. Is this accurate? Can someone tell me or help point me in the right direction? I do have a meeting with my transfer counselor next Monday.

I believe certain UC’s do require Calculus if you are a psychology major but you can double check at assist.org. I’m not positive though!

I think it depends on the school. Some require calculus, some require statistics OR calculus, some require just stats. I think it depends on the school but you can look at assist.com for each school and you should be able to find out.

It depends on whether you’re going for a B.A. or a B.S in Psych. In Irvine’s case, Calculus is not required at all for a B.A. in Psych, while the B.S. program does require it.

This was a recent change. Unfortunately, as soon as they are on assist they are effective immediately. There’s still a chance your TAG/Regular decision will be accepted though.

Ahhh, yes, thank you, I knew it! I spent a few hours this afternoon and as far as I can tell, UC Merced and UC Davis do not require the Calculus course, and according to a kind person above who responded to me as well, UC Irvine does not require Calculus for the BA, but does for the BS. Hopefully Davis and Merced accept me so I can just get this show on the road already!

fingers crossed today will be the day hopefully!! good luck everyone

Does anyone know if UCI let us know if we get Regents or Honors when they send out the admission letter?
